R. Adam Miller

Adam Miller is the Head of Energy Transition & Sustainability at Intrepid Financial Partners. Adam is based in Houston. 

Prior to joining Intrepid, Adam was Senior Vice President of Finance for Juneau Energy, an upstream portfolio company of Jefferies Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE: JEF) and a Vice President of Jefferies Capital Partners, an affiliate of Jefferies Group LLC, where he focused on upstream investments. He began his career as an investment banking analyst with Petrie Parkman and later served as an associate with Jefferies Group LLC in the Energy banking group. 

During his time with Jefferies, Adam actively participated in investment activities including evaluating investment opportunities, due diligence, transaction structuring and execution, portfolio monitoring and investment exits. Additionally, he worked closely with portfolio companies, serving on the board of multiple investments, and provided guidance on such activities as key financing events, hedging strategies, evaluating and executing merger, acquisition and divestiture opportunities and helping to refine strategies to drive long-term growth and value. 

He holds an M.B.A. and B.S.B.A. in Finance from Washington University in St. Louis.
