Nathan Cherry
Managing Director, Head of UpstreamNathan Cherry is a the Head of Upstream at Intrepid Financial Partners. Nathan is based in Houston.
Prior to joining Intrepid, Nathan was a Managing Director in Morgan Stanley's Global Energy Group based in Houston. During his tenure at Morgan Stanley and in previous roles, Nathan led a variety of public M&A transactions and capital markets financings with a focus on the upstream sector. Nathan was also based in London, UK for two years with coverage responsibilities for European-based energy clients. Prior to energy investment banking, Nathan was an attorney in Washington, DC, where his practice focused on natural resources, project finance and corporate M&A.
He holds an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia, a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A., with distinction, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
